Balance & Transition: Grounding Into the Season
September has always felt like a turning point. The air softens, the light shifts golden, and we find ourselves balancing between the abundance of summer and the grounding energy of fall. For me, this month also marks a new transition: moving from August’s soft launch into a fuller expression of Ground & Grow's vision.
I’ve been reflecting on how to honor this season of balance, both in life and in the treatment room. September is about slowing down, finding rhythm, and nourishing ourselves as we prepare for the months ahead. To celebrate, I’ve created a new seasonal menu that mirrors the themes of transition and care.

🍯 Product Spotlight: The Beekeeper’s Table Body Butter
September is known as the season of gathering. Fruits from the field, honey from the hive, and warmth from the hearth. The Beekeeper’s Table was inspired by that feeling of abundance and comfort. This rich body butter blends shea, babassu, coconut, and apricot oils with the warm, golden fragrance of spiced honey and tonka. A scent that feels like sitting at a farmhouse table as the light turns amber and the evenings grow cooler.
✨ In the Treatment Room
You’ll experience The Beekeeper’s Table in September facials and massages. From decolleté massage in the Ground & Glow Facial to full body hydration in the Signature fusion. Its silky texture nourishes deeply, while the warm fragrance lingers softly, wrapping you in comfort.
✨ At Home
Massage a small scoop into damp skin after a shower or before bed for optimal absorption. Let the butter melt slowly, sealing in moisture and leaving behind a subtle glow. Skincare as comfort is a way to take care of you and carry the abundance of this season with you.
🌱 A Note of Balance from the Garden
My treatments are intended to nourish your body seasonally. When it comes to the kitchen table, nourishing your body with fresh seasonal foods can make a huge health impact as well. September is filled with apples, squash, and the last of summer’s tomatoes and basil. A favorite way to enjoy this balance is with a simple Roasted Squash & Apple Soup. Grounding yet bright, cozy yet fresh.
Recipe:
-
1 butternut squash, peeled + cubed
-
2 apples, chopped
-
1 onion, chopped
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
3–4 cups vegetable broth or bone broth
-
Pinch of cinnamon + nutmeg
-
Salt + pepper to taste
Roast squash, apples, and onion until golden, then simmer with broth and spices. Blend until smooth. Nourishing for body and skin, full of vitamins A + C, reduces inflammation, and the perfect way to savor this season of transition in a simplistic way.
September reminds us that balance doesn’t mean standing still.
It’s about grounding into your intention, moving gracefully from one phase to the next, and growing with intention.
I’m grateful for each of you who are walking this journey with me.
May this season bring you grounding, glow, and a gentle reminder that transitions are simply new beginnings.
