Rooted with Ground & Grow | August Edition

Harvesting Gratitude: Trusting the Path We’re On

As we step into August, the gardens are overflowing, the days are still sun-soaked, and the air hums with late-summer abundance. This month has reminded me of something powerful: even when life’s timing feels unexpected  (like moving into my new space earlier than planned), everything unfolds exactly as it should. I’m grateful for where this path has led, for the clients who walk it with me, and for the lessons nature teaches us about trust, growth, and abundance.

🌼 Product Spotlight: Glow Oil

Just as August’s gardens overflow with ripeness and color, Ground & Grow's Glow Oil is a way to harvest that same abundance for your skin. This blend combines the silky hydration of coconut-derived caprylic/capric triglycerides and olive-derived squalane with the nutritive richness of jojoba, rosehip, and evening primrose oils. Each chosen to replenish, protect, and restore balance.

Herbal extracts add another layer of abundance: chamomile to soothe, echinacea to strengthen, elderflower and licorice root to brighten, and peppermint to refresh. The soft, grounding aroma of rosewood, frankincense, and elemi carries beyond skincare and into an experience.

August Special: Glow Oil is 20% off until the end of the month — the perfect time to welcome this nourishing ritual into your daily routine.

✨ Lymphatic Self-Massage with Glow Oil

The late-summer season is all about flow where energy, harvest, and gratitude move through our lives. Supporting our body’s natural flow is just as important. Lymphatic massage helps reduce puffiness, encourages circulation, and supports the body’s detox pathways. Paired with Glow Oil, it becomes both skincare and self-care.

Create Your At Home Experience:

  1. Warm 3–5 drops of Glow Oil in your palms. Breathe deeply, pressing hands to your face as you set an intention of gratitude.

  2. Move fingertips gently downward from just under the ears to the collarbone to “open” lymphatic pathways.

  3. Sweep along the jawline, from chin to ear.

  4. Glide from nose outward across the cheekbones.

  5. With ring fingers, trace under eyes from inner corner outward.

  6. Finish with outward sweeps from the forehead center to temples, then back down to the collarbone.

💡 Tip: Use light, gentle pressure — think of it as guiding flow, not pressing deeply.

As you move through each stroke, silently name something you’re grateful for. In this way, you’re not just moving fluid, but also releasing stress and negativity while inviting gratitude to flow through your body.

🌱 Note from the Garden: Savoring August’s Harvest

Just as the garden continues to root and bloom, I’ve been inspired by the overflowing baskets at local farmstands this month. August is the season of ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, fresh basil, and juicy peaches. Foods that are hydrating, vitamin-rich, and supportive for glowing skin.

Here’s a simple recipe to savor the season:

Tomato–Cucumber–Basil Salad

  • 2–3 ripe tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 cucumber, sliced

  • A handful of fresh basil, torn

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • Splash of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice

  • Pinch of salt + pepper

Toss together and enjoy fresh.

🌸 Treatment Spotlight: The Root & Bloom Duo

Healing begins by rooting deeply and then blooming into your fullest expression. The Root & Bloom Massage + Facial Duo has been a cornerstone for me. Not only as a treatment, but as the foundation that helped me design and refine the services I now will be offering moving forward.

This ritual combines a grounding massage with a revitalizing facial, reconnecting body and skin. Each session is a reminder of the power of integrating touch, flow, and holistic care. Leaving you renewed, aligned, and glowing.

August Special: All treatments are slightly discounted this month as a thank-you for walking this journey with me as I figure out a new flow.

Closing Reflection

The harvest season shows us the beauty of patience, trust, and gratitude. Thank you again for being part of this path with me, your support is part of the abundance I celebrate this month.
